| STEPS
1.
Language Setup.
2.
Download Beta.
File Name : Wgreek19.zip
(Share-ware)
File Size : 286 KB
Beta
is a right to left text converter. As with all windows based Western
software the standard "left to right" wordprocessing has been overcome
by using a sharware program titled "Beta". As the Assyrian language is
written in a "right to left" format, Beta will, when enabled, reverse a
normal Western based windows input and allow it to write from right to
left.
The
program is 16 Bit software usable in Win 95 provided the word processing
software you plan to use is also 16 bit. e.g Netscape Communicator
Pro 4.05 (16 Bit Version) and/or Microsoft Word 6.0. Thus Beta is only
compatible with Windows 3.1X and Windows 95.
3.
Unzip the wgreek19.zip file.
4.
Unzip the cnv_util.zip file into the c:\Beta directory, which you should
create on your
hard-drive.
5.
Create a shortcut icon, for the beta.exe file, found in the c:\Beta directory,
and
place it
on your desktop.
The following icon should now appear on your desktop.
For
advanced users the help files that come with the beta can be opened and
used to get further information.
6.
Start Beta by double clicking the following desktop icon. Once open use
