A Call for International Opinion

The Assyrian nation is one of the oldest nations of the Middle East, that dwelled the land of Assyria also known as Mesopotamia, that was ruled by worlds most ancient civilisations till the fall of Nineveh 612BC and later Babylon 539BC. This nation preserved its national heritage till this day facing all challenges and obstacles. Through history our nation was exposed to multiple genocide attempts, intended to annihilate and exterminate our nation. Especially in 1915 and particularly on the 24th April of that year, this resolution of Turkey was a historical shift that caused the destruction and migration of our people. SEYFO (the Assyrian genocide) predates the holocaust and it's the first and the most inhuman act of the 19th century. Over 650000 Assyrians were the victims of Turkeys fascist and chauvinist acts, the testimony of the survived eyewitnesses and the documented reports prove that Turkeys intentions were:
- To terminate and vanish the existence of the lawful owners of the land.
- To ethnically cleanse and liquefy our nation within the Ottoman Empire.
- Religious hatred since we were of Christian faith surrounded by the Muslim majority.
With this believe we call all the righteous, free and peace-loving organisations like the European Union, United Nations, human rights organisations, international court of justice, politician and the international mass media. To support the cry of our hunger strikers from the 23rd to the 25th of April 01 in front of the international court of justice (Vredes Paleis), The Hague Netherlands and the protests in Sydney Australia and other countries, by taking the following actions.
- To pressure the Turkish government to confess to Seyfo, the genocide committed against our nation by the Turks.
- To place the Turkish Republic on an international trail.
- To pressure Turkey to recognise our national rights equivalent to all other nations.
