Athens,
The Turkish air force on Thursday violated Greek national airspace for the
third consecutive day.
According to press reports, three formations of 10 Turkish aircraft
infringed air traffic regulations in the Athens Flight Information Region
(FIR) on four occasions, which then developed into seven violations of
national airspace. One north of the island of Limnos and the rest in the
region of Kastelorizo.
In all cases, the Turkish aircraft were recognized and intercepted
immediately by Greek warplanes.
The Turkish aircraft were unarmed and no engagements occurred during their
interception.
