The letter(pasted below)authored by Turkish sponsored American academic Justin McCarthy is further proof of the the Turkish Embassy's strategic plan to galvanize moral support for Turkey's denial of the Armenian,Assyrian,and Hellenic genocide and Turkey's ongoing genocidal practices towards Kurds,Armenians, Assyrians, and Hellenes as is well documented in Speros Vryonis' well referenced book "Turkish State and History". Denial and erasure of memory is indeed,as has been so eloquently expressed by Israel Charny in his landmark book "Is the Holocaust Unique?"-the final phase of genocide and the ultimate insult to the victims and survivors of genocide is denial and erasure of memory.
I speak from personal experience. The Turkish Embassy has transferred $750,000 in funds to Portland State University. In a Portland State history class taught by another heavily Turkish subsidized American academic named Jon Mandaville --I witnessed a lecture explaining how the Seljuk Turks "peacefully bought" all the land from the Byzantines. In University of Washington another Turkish subsidized academic named Kasaba explains-as a defense of ethnic cleansing-that the Greeks were hoarding all the money in Smyrna and thus got what was coming to them. Another Turkish subsidized academic named Birol Yesilada trains and mentors Denktash's staff here in American universities.One such advisor trained by Yesilada is Ahmet Sozen-who according to informed sources is the intellectual arm of the Grey Wolves organization in Cyprus.
The Turkish Embassy and the Turkish Ambassador to the United States is the central coordinator and financier of Turkish Studies programs in American Universities. When he goes on speaking tours in the U.S. he is accommodated by the Embassy financed Turkish Studies programs in American universities,thus he gets a legitimate platform for propagandizing.Inside diplomatic circles it has been predicted that O. Faruk Logoglu is next in line for the ambassadorship to the U.SA. When Hellenic American "crossing the green line delegations" shake hands with characters like O.Faruk Logoglu,Undersecretary of the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, they ought to do a thorough criminal backround check. In a speech delivered on the Occasion of the 25th Anniversary of the Foreign Policy Institute on 24 March 2000, in the Bilkent Hotel, Ankara Turkey. Logoglu said "Turkey has been a provider of peace, security and stability in its region ever since the foundation of the Republic.
