Massis Araradian, the quintessential activist, is the renowned Armenian artist, cartoonist, illustrator, typographer, sculpture, writer and teacher.

As his first name symbolizes — Massis means the summits of the two great mountains [Massis Summits] in the Armenian land of Ararat — he has been a towering figure in the political struggles of Armenia, boldly stating, “Soldiers fight Turks with their guns, I fight with my pencil."

Massis has drawn cartoons since the early years of his youth and continues to influence the world's conscience to bring genocide awareness and justice.
