Dear Brothers and Sisters,My spirit rejoices and my eyes overflow with tears of joy to witness such Holiness in the words used to express and proclaim your love and loyalty to our Lord God and his only begotten son, Jesus Christ(Word). I ask you all to please pray for me referring to the unkown sinner.
Although I am at times disturbed by the Satan provoked comments of some of my brother Assyrians, but I dont not FEAR and am not surprised (as advised by my Lord Jesus Christ). These are tears within weeds, Matthew 13:24. We will pray for them and for their repentence.
I have one favour to ask anyone who is reading this message. Can you please explain Matthew 1:25.
God Bless you all
and Glory be to His Holy Name, ONLY.
Lazar.

The verse you are relating to is about Joseph and Mary, although he married her, they did not have the normal husband/wife sexual relationship, until after Jesus was born.
God Bless.

Dear VabraGreetings and Grace of our Lord
Thankyou so much for replying to my question. Please correct me if I am wrong. According to your answer, Joseph and Mary had normal sexual relationship after the birth of Jesus?
God Bless
Awaiting your reply.

Dear Lazar,Yes, I believe they did enter into normal sexual relationship after the birth of Christ, because from the verse we read "and did not know her TILL she had brought forth her firstborn Son."
Also the word firstborn, suggests there were other children, eg when talking about other people's children it is mentioned an only son, eg in Luke 7:12, and I am sure I've read other verses when talking about someones only son, it is written "he was the only son of his mother".
God Bless.

Once again thankyou for you time. You konw, this word "TILL" or "UNTIL" used when the bible was being written, realy throws a spanner in the works. I always understood it to mean that some sort of action did not happen up to a certain point, not implying that the action did happen later.
I reached this understanding after reading 2 Sam 6:23 "Michal the daughter of Saul had no children TILL the day of her death". This certainly does not imply and it is impossible for her to have had children after her death.
Noah. released a reven from the ark. "went to and fro UNTIL the waters were dried up from the earth" Gen 8:7. As we read the story, we discover that the raven never returned at all.
Deut 34:6 re the burial of Moses. We are told that no one knew the location of his grave "UNTIL this present day" ( that is when Deu was being written). But UNTIL now no one has known since that day either.
I think you are now aware of my confussion. Please help me understand or at least distinguish the diferrence between the above three quotes form the old testament and the "TILL" in Mat 1:25.
Glory to God and His Son Jesus Christ
Grace and Love of God to you and your family
Regards
Lazar.
