Don't Waste Atour.com's website space!

May-23-2001 at 09:00 PM (UTC+3 Nineveh, Assyria)

If any of you stumble upon the Religion forum, and click on 'Christanity is designed to shutdown Assyrianism,' posted by Albert Alnasser, you will find a frenzied back-and-forth series of posts between myself and the legendary Alnasser. My word of advice is, before you waste your time engaging in discussion with anyone, make sure you have an understanding of terminology and words. Just as Albert is warning the world of his views on Christianity, I want to warn the world of engaging in a discourse with anyone while not having defined terms. "Christianity" may to many people mean "a belief in Christ as God and Savior" but to others can be part of a larger definition not substantiated by published works. Don't waste your time arguing about things when you havent agreed that 1+1=2!

It's not waste of time and space, It's setting a mutual understanding and that's why Atour.com is available for!!!!!

Disagreement is part of our nature, and it's involved in forming our personalities/characters to accept certain levels of believing and disbelieving, that's how we difer, and that's how our differences have different colours and shapes.
Enforcement, what so ever is, wont allowed notions to be developed, and that's how "some" ideologies were planned with type of insisting to repeat themselves in every single detailed transaction of our lives to ensure the presence of the purpose that it was designed for.Keeping people generally in the dark considered as a crime, but keeping our nation in the dark is an act of committing suicide!!

If your understanding abilities being disabled due to blindly accepting whatever is said and written in books, any book!!..Then please don't argue.

take care

Albert Alnasser

I say it's a waste of time because authors who research and write textbooks first have to accumulate evidence, interpret it,check and recheck their interpretations, have peer reviews, have publishers professionally scrutiny the material, and then have to substantiate it with a series of checked and rechecked footnotes and endnotes that carefully cite all material used and is available to the reader to refer to as a way to measure the evaluations of the author. Now, if you call that a blind acceptance, I don't know what a non-blind one is? Wait, would it be accepting your non (textually)substantiated views on Assyrianism, that has as of yet gained no peer reviews from any specialist in this field?

dear Julia,
The problem is- those who don't consider JESUS to be above ALL, and I mean ALL- (above all the riches of the world- above country- above nationality- above history-above husband or wife or children and the list can go on and on), are usually ignorant.
I quote from the "Rudolf" letter, by albert alnasser, "you shall never find what I have written in any book"
"Those ideas are my analysis based on new logical viewing of some hidden facts in bible and other books."
"What you had read is my idea based on my researches in several books......"

Does that answer your question, Julia? Did you notice MY and MY and MY in his letter?

When you have something to tell the world don't worry about negative reaction. Does the postman wait for your reply when he delivers your letters? most certainly NOT.

Take care and God bless.

Eden

If you were in my position you certainly would say the same. I had read enough about the the religion topic of ancient Assyrians that made me to respond frankly about my conclusions.

I had read a book states the followings:

All those idols had been mentioned in the Assyrian history have not approved their link and existence as part of the Assyrian religion.period.

Such old book as a scholarly research, certainly you will take it in your considerations while searching for the TRUTH!!!!!!!!

I don't bring things from my pocket!!!! I just read with open mind and conclude while comparing among several references....

So that what you had read in my responce to Rudolf was TRUE, and I repeat it to you, YOU SHALL NEVER FIND the same TEXT !!!IT'S ALL MY CONCLUSIONS.

take care

Albert Alnasser

dear Albert,
You say you're searching for the TRUTH, have you considered the famous words of our Lord and Saviour Jesus-"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." John 14:6. Has anyone else in history ever made such a claim? You might answer and say a few mad men have, but that's exactly my point, You would either be crazy or the Real thing to make such a claim, and I choose to beleive Him to be the Real Way,the Real Truth, and the Real Life.

Take care,

Assyrian \ã-'sir-é-an\ adj or n (1998)   1:  descendants of the ancient empire of Ashur   2:  the Assyrians, although representing but one single nation as the direct heirs of the ancient Assyrian Empire, are now doctrinally divided, inter sese, into five principle ecclesiastically designated religious sects with their corresponding hierarchies and distinct church governments, namely, Church of the East, Chaldean, Maronite, Syriac Orthodox and Syriac Catholic.  These formal divisions had their origin in the 5th century of the Christian Era.  No one can coherently understand the Assyrians as a whole until he can distinguish that which is religion or church from that which is nation -- a matter which is particularly difficult for the people from the western world to understand; for in the East, by force of circumstances beyond their control, religion has been made, from time immemorial, virtually into a criterion of nationality.   3:  the Assyrians have been referred to as Aramaean, Aramaye, Ashuraya, Ashureen, Ashuri, Ashuroyo, Assyrio-Chaldean, Aturaya, Chaldean, Chaldo, ChaldoAssyrian, ChaldoAssyrio, Jacobite, Kaldany, Kaldu, Kasdu, Malabar, Maronite, Maronaya, Nestorian, Nestornaye, Oromoye, Suraya, Syriac, Syrian, Syriani, Suryoye, Suryoyo and Telkeffee. — Assyrianism verb
