Shlama all, I have recently deleted some posts which violated the rules of this forum. I dislike this, as I believe we should all be able to state our opinions. But a line must be drawn, and when our opinions are hurtful to another person or community, I believe that's were our privelege of posting on a moderated forum should end. The is the first time I have had to do this, but I wanted everyone here to know that this type of thing will not be allowed to degrade the nature of this forum. This project is very important to me, and above and beyond that, the scriptures are holy to me. In reverence to them, the Words of God, let us therefore be at peace with one another. There will be no anti-Semitism, no anti-Muslim, no anti-Christian, no anti-ANYTHING remarks allowed on this forum. I have deleted posts which have attacked Judaism, Islam and Catholicism....I believe I have been fair to all sides. Also, when I spend time doing this type of thing, or helping to correct someone who has insulted another, it takes away from my time to translate. I do not mind being involved in discussions in which I or others benefit, as this is part of my responsibility. But to keep track of all the fighting which will take place on this forum in the future, would mean my project will be at least tripled in time. If there are persons here willing to be moderators of this forum, please email me privately at dyounan@ce.mediaone.net The only other option I have is to shut this forum down until the translation is complete, which would benefit no one. For a reminder, this is the policy we all (including myself) must abide by: Any posts which contain offensive, inappropriate, or insulting material directed at any person or community will be promptly removed, along with any replies to the original message. Repeat violators of this policy will have their IP addresses blocked from accessing this entire website. Thank you for helping to make this forum a place where all can share and learn in a respectful and scholarly atmosphere. Shlama w'Burkate, Paul
