Last edited by Andrew Gabriel Roth on Jul-14-2001 at 12:33 PM (CT) Dear Akhi Disciple Daniel: Please provide this info to me as well. I have some ideas for articles as well. I am working tentatively and slowly on one which has 6 powerful proofs of Aramaic NT primacy. While a lot of these topics are discussed extensively in SOTC, I have also taken a kind of side path. Whereas SOTC covers a broad spectrum of topics, this other related area, which I have named "SMOKING CANON", is only concerned with Peshitta primacy over not just the Greek, but also other Aramaic and Hebrew sources as well. I have a few rough essays on the general historical trends and other works on the textual proofs. The 6 scriptures I will deal with extensively are: Matthew 1:16-19 (pending review of Paul's conclusions and how they synch with my own). If that does not happen though, I would probably go with Yukhanan 21:17-19 in its place. Matthew 26:6-7 (a classic case of two words with identical spellings being confused) Mark 3:17 (a scribal gloss which actually proves Aramaic-- and not Greek-- primacy) Luke 1:68-79 (the ultimate Semitic poem-- a real mind blower!) Acts 8:27 (another classic case of word confusion, this time with one word having two completely different meanings) Romans 5:7 -- and related evidence from Paul-- showing the entire targumming system that Aramaic original letters go through when they are translated into Greek at the local synagogue level. The SMOKING CANON stuff is also the basis for whatever speeches you could arrange for me to give, but I would also be open to exploring other topics in SOTC as well, such as the linkage between Y'shua Ha Moshiack and the Jewish mystical writings, Talmud, etc. Please let me know and thanks for setting all this stuff up to help get the word out. As my people would say, you're a MENSCH (good guy). Shlama w'burkate Andrew Gabriel Roth
