A delegation representing Assyrian Democratic Movement (ADM, ["Zowaa"]) met with members of NSW Parliament members in Sydney, Australia. Delegates from Iraq were headed by Lewya Gevara Zia, Assistant Secretary General, and Lewya Fared Yacob, member of Central Committee and responsible for Zowaa Branch in Nohadra (Dohuk), Iraq. The meetings included members of Parliament and various Australian political organizations and friends of our people. During the meeting a written demand was presented asking for the creation of a security area in the Nineveh plains, supported by the United Nations, and to recognize the genocide inflicted upon our people by Daesh [ISIL, ISIS] terror group.
