USA, Chicago (AIM) — The University of Chicago Oriental Institute hosted a lecture by McGuire Gibson in honour of the archaeological contributions of Dr. Donny George Youkhanna on June 1, 2011 in Breasted Hall at the Oriental Institute.
Following the lecture, an exhibit case dedication featuring a new commemoration message was symbolically added within the Mesopotamian Household and Family exhibit at the University of Chicago Oriental Institute Museum.
Oriental Institute staff, members, and the Assyrian community celebrated the achievements of “the man who saved the Iraq National Museum,” Dr. Donny George Youkhanna.
