Greece helps Armenia overcome drought aftereffects The government of Greece has taken a decision on release of $250,000 to Armenia to help overcome the aftereffects of the drought that reportedly caused a $100 million damages to Armenia's agriculture.
The Hellenic embassy in Yerevan told Armenpress that the decision was made
by the Greece's foreign ministry. More than half of the money, $150,000
will be directed to purchase of seeds and fodder through UN FAO, the rest
of $100,000 will be used for purchase of food to be sent to Armenia.
