Armenian Genocide Bill worries U.S. companies Missile manufacturer Lockheed Martin and helicopter manufacturer Northrop Grumman, the two leading producers of weapons in the United States, are worried about Turkey's reaction if the Armenian Genocide bill is accepted by the Maryland State Assembly. These two weapon manufacturing companies have a total of half a billion dollar worth of business with Turkey and around 5000 employees. With this worry, Lockheed and Northrop demanded from their lobbyist
in the assembly to get involved. However, the lobbyist George
Manas of Greek origin, rejected their demand saying, "My
grandfather was killed by the Turks. I will absolutely not get
involved in this." Now, both companies are anxiously awaiting the
passing of the Genocide Bill.
