Books on "Armenian Issue": 84 in Turkey, 26,000 in France, 23,000 in USA

Turks are wondering these days why they have not been successful in "explaining" their side of the story in an issue that they categorically believe they are right. Perhaps they do not have to look too far away for an answer: Turks did not produce any significant body of work to explain their view of the Turkish-Armenian relations. While the Turkish National Library in Ankara has only 84 books on the "Armenian issue," the French National Library has 26,000 books attacking Turkey as responsible for the "Armenian genocide." The Library of Congress in Washington similarly contains 23,000 books that support the "Armenian genocide" thesis. /Zaman/
